Is there a way that I can find if a forum name is available without actually going through the creating process?

Just putting the username into the signup form, and pressing signup should do it. If it's available, it will say so on the following page.

Yea i know, but I want to know if it's available without actually creating the forum. Such as in Yahoo, you can check the availability of a username before you sign-up for it. I don't want to sign-up for one now as much as see if it's available.

That will indicate, via an error message, whether or not the username is available or not.

Yes, but if it is available then the forum will be created. It's weird but I just want to know if it's available. I don't want to know that it's available by having it be created.

Wait. So you're saying, just enter the username without anything else and it'll give me the "Please fill in first name", etc and also the "username already taken"?
edit: okay, it worked thanks
