I just received the following message from a 15 year old member:
"I'm Joelle ... I'm new to this board ... About the age thing , well what if my parent don't even know that I watch this show ?? Seriously he doesn't know ... Can I bring recommendation from one of my sisters ?? The eldest is 21 years old ... Is that OK with you ??"
I responded that according to Proboards TOS she must have parental permission and if she didn't have it, I would have to delete her account. I also asked her if her father knew and approved of her membership on my board. This is the response I got:
"He knows I'm a member at many boards , and he really doesn't mind , sometimes he comes and check on me in my room and see me on some board chatting ...
I really don't think he does mind "
I told her that then I think it's ok, but I want to be sure. I would assume if her father checks on her and sees that she's on my board and doesn't get upset or tell her to get off, that constitutes permission. Am I right?
Thanks for any responses.
*Edited to add: She's also offering up her step-mother to write something.

Yes, that's what I'm trying to be clear on. Thanks.

I would count an elder sibling as permission.
