I am wanting to place flash menu buttons on my forum. Now I have the files downloaded in a folder and I have code to put on the forum. But I'm wondering how do I get it to work?
The code is as follows:
<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/ shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=4,0,2,0" width="711" height="46"> <PARAM name="movie" value="ChromeBall.swf"> <PARAM NAME="wmode" VALUE="transparent"> <PARAM name="quality" value="high"> <PARAM name="menu" value="true"> <EMBED src="ChromeBall.swf" quality="high" menu="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/ download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="711" height="46"> </EMBED> </OBJECT>
Now do I place that in the global header?
HELP!

You can place that in the header, but the flash file itself, you also need to host yourself, then change this line: <PARAM name="movie" value="ChromeBall.swf">
To have your hosted version of the flash file

Yeah, I got it to work...but not using that code. lol. I used this code: <script> <!-- // Flash script by THE BEAST document.getElementsByTagName('td')[1].innerHTML='<embed src="http://www.freewebs.com/universalodyssey/ChromeBall2.swf" width="710"height="100">'; --> </script> Now the thing I'm wondering is how to get my logo to show along with it. lol. Ugh! Oh! I got it. Nevermind. Thanks!
