I am trying to change the size of my font in the main message board. I came up with this as an answer... but it's not helping. =(
I have gone into my admin area and do not see antyhing called "Board settings". I have a "modify board" link, but it doesn't have any field related to fonts.
I have questions re the font setting in the skins area as well.
a) Do the skins settings override these overall "board settings" that you mention? b) In the skins settings, can you put a font size or simply a font face type?
Any help you can give on how I can adjust font sizes in my board is really appreciated... thx.

Hi and welcome to ProBoards. I'm affraid the font size cannot currently be changed via the 'Modify Skin' page. However you can add this code into your Global Header (Admin --> Headers/Footers) to override the size of the font: <style type="text/css"> <!-- body, font,td,a { font-size: 13px; } --> </style>Alternatively, holding down 'Ctrl' and scrolling your mouse wheel will change the size setting on just your machine if you only need it to effect you

yipeeee!! thank you.... this worked really great!
Now it seems to have affected the size of the font in my news header though. I have tried to change the size within "news fader" but it doesn't seems to be working.
is there a trick to keeping the news fader font size unrelated to the font size for the whole board?

The content of the news fader? <style type="text/css"> <!-- #fscroller { font-size: 12px!important; } --> </style>See if adding that to the Main Header will rectify the problem

Hi Ross! =)
I tried that and it doesn't appear to help. I even changed the font size within the code you gave me and it's not changing anything.
i put it in the MAIN header.. right? not the global header?
blissed p.s. while we are talking about headers and the news fader, Is it possible to put in images in this area at all? I'm looking to put the title as gif files for each letter and wondering if that can work..
