There is a person who runs a forum that is a competitor to my site.
The ads that appear on MY forum are now advertising HIS site???
How can that be, and what can I do about it?
His site is not a Proboard

His site is not a Proboard the ad's are placed there by Google, I don't believe much can be done on the proboards side of it.

His site is not a Proboard The ads are controlled by Google, and Proboards have no say over what ads are and aren't run on a board. Your board is about hockey and as such the googlebot picks up on this and runs ads that are of signifacance to your board. Your competitor must have paid for ads on google and therefore, as his is a hockey site also, his ad will be picked up and placed on your board. The only way around this is to pay for ad free and have the ads removed

If you pay now you will only get until the end of December before they run out. Best wait until the first of January. You can buy the credits just now, just don't apply them till Jan

and regarding the ad-free.
it says, "we provide your board up to 50,000 ad-free pageviews per month."
Whats the norm?
Like will I have to be paying $14.00 per month?
Im not sure the #'s i get but it is pretty busy.

According to google, you'd be in the $21 a month range...

No, they would not remove the ads until you actually applied them. Once you buy the credits you go to the ad free section in the admin control panel. there it will tell you how many credits you have. From there you would then apply them to the month you want to be ad free. But, as I said, if you apply them to this month they will run out on Dec 31
