Has My board Violated any TOS?

I have set up a site called LegendsTGC. I have just seen on my site yesterday this post:

It was posted by a guest and so i am unsure of its validity. I want to confirm with the proboards staff here if my board has violated any TOS.

If it has i will gladly change anything that can correct this. Thanks.

They called themself PB Staff? They won't say who reported you in it I'm sure, and it'll probably just be a PM. PB Staff as far as I'm concerned won't post in your forum.

Have you or your members been racist? Are you breaking copyright?

It was a post by a guest on the forum. That is why i am not sure on the vadility of it.

On my site, the site has not been racist or has it broken any copywrite.

The site is for ppl to trade a collecters card game called Yugioh. So i do not know how racisim fits into it?

Also, with copywrite. All the codes i use that i have taken from the database of proboards all have the header intact if they had it in the first place.

I cannot think of any copywrite breaking things on the site.

The thing is, the guest mentioned a member that is on my site. And he/ she knew his log in name and display name so thats why i thought it maybe a staff member....

If a real Proboards Staff member contacted you, it would be sent via PM from the 'admin' account.

So if it was a proboards staff, the staff would use 'my' account (because i am Admin), to send myself a warning?

Alrite, well if possible could a Admin or member of staff give me their views.

I am not saying any of the views i have got already are worthless, its just i want to make sure for definate on this as i do not want my board deleted.

What Tommy has said earlier is precisely correct. If your forum is in violation of the ToS (but not severe enough for immediate deletion) a ProBoards.com Staff member will send you a private message from your admin account giving you a warning to rectify the violation. They would definitely not post as a guest on your forum.

So is it safe to say i can leave this matter behind now and pretend it never happened. And also be extra careful from now on to never break a voilation.

If there are any minor violations on your forum that you as admin didnt direclty participate in, you will get a warning from us, which appears to be a PM from yourself

If its a serious violation we stright delete the forum

In most cases though, people know they are violating if they are
