Cannot access board to tell if it is my old one

I used to use the Pro Boards service in 2003 (in conjunction to my website) and would like to return since I have been unhappy with the service I am currently with.

However, before I create a new board I have been trying to find out if my original board is still online. I cannot remember deleting the board but nor can I remember the exact URL (I deleted the confirmation email years ago).

Looking at this support request (http://support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=support&action=display&n=1&thread=41515) I had a look around on Google to no avail and then made a few attempts at what the URL could be.

I found a board (mutedfaith.proboards8.com) and I questioned if that is my board. However, if you see the page you will notice that the only thing written on the page is “go away”. I typed in this URL (http://mutedfaith.proboards8.com/index.cgi?action=login) to attempt to log in to see if that was my account but the page was refused stating “You don't have permission to access /index.cgi on this server.”

Does anyone know the meaning of this? Or, can someone with privileges see if my email address (the same one used for registering this account) is the one used on the administrator account there – because that may not be my account at all.

Update #1: I tried other variations of the username on Server 8 and they all state the same thing -- "go away" so maybe that is not me at all.

I think I may be stuck now.

there are no boards hosted on proboards 8 (server) it's an image server.

do you remember anything else ? or have you got the email you were sent when registering ?

No forums exist on proboards8, anything you type would result in that message

Unfortunatly we also cannot do searchs for forums based on email addresses

You were quick at replying.

No, I clean out my email account often. I should have printed out the page but it was one of those times I was... lazy. The email will have been deleted for years.

Update #1: I should have mentioned that I was typing in mutedfaith and variations for every server up to 20 or so, because I was one of the early birds here.

Unless you remember additional details which could help find it, im affraid we cannot help

If you didnt delete the fourm, it will still exist somewhere though
