Forum URL: mindgarden.proboards67.comOne of my members recently changed service providers. This member then logged in, ammended their email address and was sent a new activation key. Since then, they have been getting the standard 'you are banned' message when they try to post. This doesn't happen everytime, just every now and then. Is there anything I can do from my end? Or is this because they have just changed providers? I thought that maybe if they deleted their account, and re-registered, that may help? Anyone got any advice?

Already done that. None of the member's details are on the list. And, I am the only staff member who has the power to ban people.

sometimes he can get in and post. Other times he can get in but not post, other times he can't get in at all. Guests can't post on my board by default.
member's email to me, (used with permission);
"..I changed Internet providers. I went into profile and changed my email. Since then I can get into the forum and read post but nothing else. If I try to do anything else I get a message that I am banned. Is this true? If I am banned fine, if not can you help me fix this? It only happens sometime not all the time...."

If the member is using AOL and you have banned a recent person with an AOL IP, this can cause this since AOL changes IP's all the time. Look at the member's IP that is having the problem and compare that to the one in the ban list and it will usually tell you.

The member's IP is identical except for the last digit to the IP of a banned member. Both use AOL.
