Forum URL: gatornation.proboards.comI received the following notice today from one of my users: For some reason I can not post or start a thread. Every time I try I get this angry bear message. This is a long-time user who has a well-established account. I looked through his user profile and didn't find any setting that might be causing an issue. No one else thus far has mentioned the problem, but I see from another thread that a user on another Proboard is having the same issue. Ideas?

Hi, Can you get the following info from the member in question please? What version of windows are they using: What company do they get their internet service though? Where are they geographically located (City / State, or if outside of the USA, which Country)? Also check to see if they have the issue when using a different web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Also see if they have any issue when using the "Quick Reply" function on the forum to reply to threads

Still waiting to hear back from the user. As an experiment, I logged onto the board myself with MSIE 9 (Windows Vista, Cox Internet, Las Vegas, NV). I did not have the same problems as this user.

The user reports that he is using Windows 7, ISP is Embarq DSL, location is Clermont, FL. Further reported that the problem disappeared when he logged in using Google Chrome.

Thanks for checking back. Can you check a couple of more things with them please?
What's the version number of Internet Explorer that they are using? (this can be found by clicking the Gear icon in the top-right hand corner of the browser window, then click "About Internet Explorer". The complete version number should be listed as the first thing below the IE logo)
What internet security software do they have installed on their computer? (AVG, McAfee, Norton, etc.)
