You actually can have your account deleted on Facebook, it's just not an instant process. I did it a few years back, and it took about a week which really isn't a problem.

Just the admin needs on so they can submit their email to ProBoards. So that they can notify you when Beta Zone comes.

I REALLY dislike having to go through Facebook to get on the BetaZone list. I CAN do this for my test forum just to play with settings, but I'm not happy about it.

Why not create a new forum for this requirement instead of relying on Facebook, especially when Facebook is a good reason for the demise of many a forum ?

One can hope that an alternative method to registering will become available. If a person declines to register with FB then the only other option at the moment, is to wait for the full release I suppose.

Even though I use FB, for my forum, I'm not opposed to creating a quickie FB account just to register my forum for BetaZone. I'd just abandon it afterwards. OOOORRR partner with someone who does have an FB account, have them "LIKE" the page (if they haven't done so already) and then have them add your email address! Simple as that.

I was able to add several emails in yesterday, with NO PROBLEM!

Also if there are templates already preset, does that mess with our form colors? Can we still edit our forum skin exactly the way we want?

Your forum colors will convert over to v5. You have even more control over your forum's theme with v5 -- we give you direct access to the HTML templates.
