Thank you very much. Remind me to send you the bill for the wig I'll need after pulling out my few remaining hairs.
I DON'T GET IT! It doesn't work for me. I'm running 'Basic Theme," and I tried under a randomly selected theme, "Root Beer."
I no longer have a clue. I'm glad your avatar is a wizard, because my brain is burned out, and I may need magic for this.

Dear adwoman,
More magnificent help from wonderful people. Maybe I can get a hair transplant and regain my youthful appearance.
Setting private mode, seems just a bit bothersome, but hey! Who am I to question what works? Thank you.

Who am I to question what works? Thank you. I like to think I didn't go bald, my hair just started relocating to my ears! It may be an issue with the browser you are using or how that browser is handling cookies. I find it helpful when troubleshooting site issues like that to have multiple browsers to switch to, that way you can tell more easily if it's an issue due to your browser or one with the site itself. The five most popular browsers would be, in no particular order: FirefoxChromeOperaInternet ExplorerSafari

Is it possible to use this to collapse sub-forum headers within boards as well so that users do not need to scroll through the sub-forums to post?

Hey, anyone know of an easy way (or as a possible addition) to have certain categories not be collapsible?

Do collapsible categories function properly on mobile devices? One member on my forum, who uses a Samsung Galaxy 4 to connect to my board, posted a note saying the categories didn't function at all on his device.

In order for any plugin to work on a mobile device, they must be on desktop mode and have JavaScript enabled. Any type of plugin will not work on mobile otherwise.

I tried to skim through this thread to see if this has been brought up before, but I didn't see anything. Forgive me if I missed it.
On my forum I have 3 different themes and I plan to add more in the future. We have a lot of boards so my members and I love this plugin. I use the New Post BG image to indicate new post for the boards. However, I can only use one image for all 3 themes. I want each theme to have a different image for the New Post BG image.
Is there anyway to do this?
Thank you for your time and help in this matter.

Jordan and Tumbleweed Brian and Kami I found this code that Tumbleweed posted which makes the background forum image fit the page. support.proboards.com/thread/551162/background-fit-pageI have this in my stylesheet for that theme
I love this collapsible category plugin and use it on all of my sites. My main two have lots of categories and boards, it helps to make things easier for my users to find their favorite places to keep track of and post. It works great.
Only issue I have had is that when I use this background image code, when I use this plugin, it also affects the background image causing it to stretch or shrink lengthwise during use. I'm trying to figure out a way to have the background image to stay unaffected by this plugin. I'm not sure if it's possible.
I recently was asking on this thread: support.proboards.com/thread/591393/background-wallpaper-image-sizes-responsive since the upcomming v6 is going to be "responsive" will it be able to correct the background/wallpaper image causing it to fit the page and the collapsible category plugin won't affect the image?
From the help I've recieved on that thread, it sounds like it's not going to be something "responsive" will be able to address.
Here's my test site link. lemoncake.freeforums.net/ Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

unfortunately the plugin doesn't appear to be installed or activated on the main theme (I see no indications that the categories are collapsible) so it will be impossible to troubleshoot unless it's active.

Skidjit , I put the css (and your image and I hope you don't mind just because I don't have a large image handy) and the collapsible categories plugin on my test site and I don't get what you are getting but I do see what is happening on your site. I also added the side table just to try to replicate your site. Tested in IE, FF and Chrome too just in case it was a browser thing. It might be something else is conflicting with that css? My suggestion would be to remove everything in that css but the background/image/no-repeat part and see if it still does it. I mean remove the blue part: body { background: #050605 url('http://i63.tinypic.com/biqqhh.jpg') no-repeat; -webkit-background-size: cover; -moz-background-size: cover; -o-background-size: cover; background-size: cover; background-attachment: fixed;
} I'm not sure what to tell you though. It's hard to fix something when you can't replicate it.
