Hi, how can I make it work on Firefox? Not working on Firefox... Please only post once.. This plugin is working fine for me in Firefox, and a every other browser I have tried. Can you please leave a link to a guest friendly board on your forum so I can take a look and I'll try to find the problem.

Hi Todge. I've been having an intermittent issue with the alt text of the smileys posted. Specifically, this happens sometimes in quotes and quotes of quotes: At first, I thought it may have been a conflict with something else, but that screenshot is taken from a test forum with nothing but this plug-in installed, and it doesn't seem to occur with the default PB smileys.

Does this only seem to happen with the same smileys? Or is it a random event with any of them? Also, are you using the latest version of the plugin (3.2.9), and if not, can you please update to that version.

To be honest, I haven't really noticed but I do know it's happened with more than one: imdb2.freeforums.net/post/2929769/threadI thought maybe it was just me for a while, then someone started a thread about it the other day: imdb2.freeforums.net/thread/187914/emojis-quotes-nutzoidI was using 3.2.8. Updated to 3.2.9 about five minutes ago. Maybe that will help? Thanks! -John Update: 3.2.9 installed. Problem still occurs, but I am noticing it more with certain smileys, although they are the some of the most common ones. If it helps, the filenames I've noticed are: smile, giveup, cheers, biggrin, and they're hosted on postimg.cc.

I can't replicate the error on my testing forum, no matter what browser I try and no matter how many times I post. Do you have anything in your censored words list? and have you noticed if it happens more when using the Preview side or the BBCode side of the editor?

jcarter , I tried and tried, but couldn't replicate your issue. I can try again from different devices and browsers if you'd like. I feel like maybe there are instances where the script isn't loading completely, and you are ending up with plain text replies, rather than the image you want to display. However, I can't be certain if I can't experience the error for myself. You can keep my testing account if you'd like me to do more tests. If not, you can do with it as you wish.

Do you have anything in your censored words list? and have you noticed if it happens more when using the Preview side or the BBCode side of the editor? Yeah, I can't replicate it either, at least not on purpose. There is currently only one censored word on my forum: "postimg.org" replaced with "postimg.cc", which is somewhat necessary since they changed their URL recently. I can't speak for anyone else, but BBCode is set as default for me, and I rarely ever use the preview pane. As time permits, I'll do some more trial and error and see if I can't get more information about this issue. It's just a small annoyance and certainly nothing to be at the top of anyone's priority list. Thanks, Todge.

I'm able to replicate this issue with a specific post on a test forum, but it doesn't happen with an identical post in an identical thread on the same forum. I'll PM you a link and maybe you can take a look when you have time?

I'll PM you a link and maybe you can take a look when you have time? Thank you, but I can't see that forum as a guest. Can you open it for me to see? Also, you say this is only happening in quoted posts? If that is the case, and the issue is only happening in the actual quote, then it has nothing to do with the way the smiley is inserted into the post itself, rather the function that deciphers the image code, changing it back to ubbc in the BBCode side of the editor. I bet that if you change your preferences to the preview side, the issue will dissappear. As to why this only happens sometimes is a problem, and the fact that I can't replicate it at all doesn't help, but it tells me that that deciphering function, for some reason, isn't always working.. There is a delay added to that function to try and give it time to work before the post content is viewed, so it MAY be the PC or the connection not having enough time to load/work, so extending that time may do the trick. I'll get an updated plugin for you to try asap.

Thank you, but I can't see that forum as a guest. Can you open it for me to see? Done. Given that a space is added to tags when switching between the panes, I've tried every combination of the two, and, in this case anyway, it makes no difference. Thanks!

jcarter , can you please try this version and let me know how you get on. I have added the delay as I mentioned, I have also added a function that will hopefully strip out any erroneous titles should they appear. This new plugin will not fix posts that have already been corrupted, so don't quote an already corrupted post and expect it to work.
