The few plugins I have installed, works just fine to include Todge's first Smilie plugin. The updated one, as I've mentioned in a earlier post, after removing the original plugin, seems to fail totally.
My suggestion to all, is wait until Todge gets back online and will address the issue at hand.

Thank you Todge and it works great. As posted before:
The white background would be, in most cases, clash with some forum color themes. Again, no hurry at all.

Hopefully this will work now.. I have a problem with this update. First off, OSX 10.7.5 with Firefox (as plugins don't seem to work with Safari) It seemed to install without a problem and I added the smilies and defined the box. Then I went to enter something, only to find the editing screen had no toolbar, nothing. So, I removed the plugin which was successful and that didn't alter anything in the editing window. Ideas?

I know Safari can be difficult sometimes, but I had assumed Firefox would be the same no matter what it was running on. As I don't use a Mac, there's no way I can check this out, but, removing or disabling the plugin should restore the toolbar. If it doesn't, I'd have to say it has nothing to do with this plugin.

You can grab it from the first post in this thread. It includes options to change the colors of the dropdown and the option to have it displayed in the quick reply. It now also works for guests.

I'm sorry Todge as the background I was talking about, was the white behind (foreground) the smilies: *aRMY83 slaps self with helmet*

This is a 'port' of the code in the Code Index, you should be able to simply copy/paste your smilie array from the code in your V4.5 forum into the plugin. The drop-down will appear below the standard smileys on the posting page. Thanks Todge.

I think I agree. It is reporting itself as fully installed and the options appear set correctly. I just cut & paste the list of smilies from the existing v4 forum and set the same parameters for the box. So I guess it is some sort of V5 bug. I will fill out a bug report.
