Todge - is there any way or tweak that could be set up so only the person who posted the thread and a staff member can see spoilers on one board?

Possible, but in some ways that would be easier with a code in your boards' footer.

But, the Whipser Tags plugin can be used to do just that.

Does the Whisper tags plugin work exactly same as spoilers in terms of syntax and is there a set title for it? This is what drew me towards Spoilers - the fact I could set up a custom title

Not exactly.. The Whisper Tags plugin encrypts and removes content from posts that is not to be read by those not added at the time of posting, so if a member that you do not list in the whisper tag looks at the post, they simply won't see anything.

You can use both plugins together, putting a whisper into a spoiler, that way the button will be displayed, but will be empty to those that are not allowed to see it.

The syntax of the whisper tag is..

[div title="whisper admin,todge" style="font-size: 0px"][/div]

Listing the USERNAMES of those that it should be open to in red.

Nope, the poster's username is added automatically.

The title wont change. I'm trying to use is so my members can censor NSFW content but it's using the default.

Yup, put this in the 'Title Styling' section of the plugin..

font-size: 30px;

and change the red number to suit..

You can also make the title bold by adding this..

font-weight: bold;

I tried your spoiler plug-in and it failed: did not allow me any preferred title and css style.
I removed your plug-in.
According to another proboards forum Administrator who has a working plug-in, informed me this is Version 1.4.3 Beta.

Any chance you could offer us a separate download link for this older but working 1.4.3. beta version?
This would offer us a working solution.

I don't have a version of the older code, but.....

If you go to the plugin's library page, there is a dropdown on the right hand side of the screen entitled 'Version Selector', clicking that will give you a choice of which version you'd like to try.
