It's lagging by the time I get onto page 3 or 4 of most recent posts.

It's lagging by the time I get onto page 3 or 4 of most recent posts. The trouble is that the plugin has to wait until the page has loaded before it can secure the images. If they take 5 seconds to load, then they will be unsecure for 5 seconds. I have an idea to try and speed things along, but that would be a whole new plugin, and so will be a little while, assuming I can get it to work.

Hey TodgeI was just wondering what does this new version do differently than the old version? The previous version first found all the posts of a page, then scanned each post for images, then checked those images for their width before applying the security measures. This version finds the images directly, then looks for their widths before securing them So not only is it one process less, it's also only dealing with one array, rather than potentially one for each post.

I can't see a reason why it should be slower, but when I checked it out on my test forum, I had no issues with the original code either... Back to the drawing board methinks.

Just tried this on my forum and it works OK. Only thing is, I also run the auto resize plugin, and when I enable the Image Security plugin, the images stop auto resizing.
Any ideas ?
I have moved the Image Security plugin so it is above the Auto Resize plugin in the list.

Much faster on page one of view recent posts, but page 2 not working even after refreshing the page several times. Using Safari on my iMac but doesn't work at all when using Safari on my iPad.
