Hi, I'm still having some issues with this. I love the format and finding it so easy to create galleries, but for some odd reason my comments aren't showing up. I created an additional field to give credit to the artist, but that doesn't show up, either (looks like it fades in briefly at the bottom, and then disappears). Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks very much again. Sorry to hear you are still having issues.. Could you please post or PM me a link to a gallery and set it so that I can post as a guest? I will not need to post, but I will need to see the posting page. Thank you.

Thank you.. That is obviously a problem with the way the plugin is working out the position of the scrolling content.. Try adding this to the plugins' CSS Styling.. .gallery-content { height: 100px!important; width: 95%!important; top: unset!important; bottom: 10px; background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 1.0) none repeat scroll 0% 0%!important; } .gallery-content > .message { height: 100px!important; }

Ah! It's supposed to scroll. Didn't know that. The CSS fixed the problem (thank you!) but I guess my question now is, is there any way to make that field static vs. scrolling? If not, I'll likely just remove the text, since it's a tad distracting. Not a big deal as I did give credit to the artist on a related post, but thought it would be nice to give her credit under the images as well.
Again, greatly appreciate your help with this. It's a very nifty plug-in!

It's a very nifty plug-in! You can indeed.. In the plugins settings, fourth option down is 'Scroll-Box', ticking that will display the image info below it in a static scroll-box, as opposed to a scrolling pop-up.

Got it! Thank you. I ended up going back to linearly vs. non-linearly for the format, but thank for helping me with the code in case I want to set up another gallery that way in the future.
Best to you in 2021.

This will allow your members to create a gallery for themselves where only they will be able add pictures and comments. You will need to create a board to be used for your galleries and assign that board to the plugin. Moderators can edit the comments or delete the image, but they can not edit the images. PluginDirect linkCurrent Version 3.1.1With version 1.2.0 and above you have the option to allow comments, but if you want that option you will need a key.. To create the needed key, install this plugin and ensure it is ABOVE the Member Galleries plugin in your plugins list. View AttachmentYou can change the key permissions, the following settings work for me.. Read Permissions set to EveryoneWrite Permissions to Members and StaffDoes this work as attachments, and are the number of attachments still limited? I'd like to try it, but our board can be image heavy. We currently "link" to flickr.com images.

Hi scrapjag , No, the images are posted as a normal images, NOT attachments, and the code reconstructs the post to be viewed as a gallery. Your members will need to host their images in order to get a URL to add to the plugin during posting. I hope that answers your question.

Hello! I hope someone can be of assistance here; I'm really into the idea of this add-on and would love to implement it correctly... which I have not managed, haha. The issue I am having is that when I link an image and give it a comment (which I would prefer centered beneath the image, which isn't happening for me), I post and it's just the full-sized image and left-washed comment. If I try to upload another picture, the exact same thing happens, just with a new post. I am trying to accomplish pretty much exactly this. I feel like I'm missing something very obvious, so please forgive me for the immense ignorance with coding absolutely anything, lol. Thank you for your time!

Oh yikes, my apologies there! Here you are. (: To make navigation easier for ya, the "Member Galleries" board is within the "Meet the Mob!" parent board! I've made it publicly viewable.

Can you please create a gallery and post a couple of images with a comment so that I can see what is happening. Thanks again.
