I have now done so! My apologies, Todge; I should have assumed I needed to do that, haha. Here you are!Thank you. Could you please update the plugin you are currently using to version 3.1.4, this is NOT the version in the library, but it is the version I currently have on my test forum. Remember to select the board to be used as a gallery, the other settings 'should' pass accross, give me a prod when done and I can look deeper.

I have now done so. (: Thank you for all your help so far! Thank you. Can you please put both the Member Gallery and Member Gallery Post Key plugins to the very top of your plugins list. If it still misbehaves, could you please disable all of your other plugins and then see if the plugin behaves as it should. If the plugin behaves itself with your other plugins disabled, can you please re-enable them a couple at a time, refreshing your gallery each time to see if it stops working, then post the name of the offending plugin here.

Very strange... Even with them all off but those two, the member gallery still does not work. Do you suppose it could be that I am using a custom theme? I'm clueless with coding stuff so have no idea how plugins and theme CSS interact.

I assume that you have told the plugin which board you are using as a gallery?
Assuming that you have, then yes, it would probably be the theme. To test that out, switch your theme to the default them and then see if the plugin works. You MAY have to create a new thread to test, as if the original thread is formatted wrongly then the plugin may still fail.

Ah, there we are: it is indeed the theme. I followed those instructions and then yep, the plugin was all well. Ah well, thank you so very much for trying to help though! (:

It is well beyond what might be reasonably expected. Thank you for all you do.

Oh goodness, that warmed my heart! They deserve it; I look at all this coding stuff for two seconds and my head hurts, haha. Gotta respect all the effort it must take to figure out ONE tiny issue in a literal wall of text!

I was just looking over our settings for the member galleries plugin and playing with the options. We have non-linear turned on (which I quite like), but it sure would be nice, after clicking on an image to view larger, if there was a way to go to the next image in the gallery without having to close the current one first. Is that do-able?

Is that do-able? I'm afraid not, at least not without a major rewrite of the plugin. The problem is that, although posts are numbered incrementally, that is across the forum, not within a thread, so there's no way to know what the post number of the next image would be in the gallery when it crossed over to the next page. Sorry.

I have another question. A member posted an image into their gallery using cubeupload. When I click to view it it is displayed bigger than the screen. Is there a way to prevent that, to limit the display to the screen size?
Or maybe I should rephrase my question: I turned on the "Add full-size button", and when I click the "full-size" button the image is down-sized to fit on the screen, so can that be made the default behavior?

Could you please tell me which broswer you are using? I primarily use Firefox, and by default, FF does disply oversized images at the screen size. You hve to then click on the image again for it to be expanded to full size.
