I think you are confusing BetaZone with the v5.proboards.com site.

BetaZone is here: www.proboards.com/betazone

That is where you sign up to join BetaZone.

Hi Patrick,
NO, no confusion

Here is where I'm getting to, 'Logged In'  and Entered my ACTIVATION KEY, now I'm just going round in circles. I've been trying for days to get into the v5 Forum and see what's happening with MY Board "Glesga Folk"

When you enter your BetaZone key, it should then take you to a page that says:

"You have not yet converted any of your forums to BetaZone.
In order to convert a forum to BetaZone, please complete the following form:"

You are somehow ending up at the wrong page. I went to www.proboards.com/betazone and tested a BetaZone key, and it let me into the BetaZone section just fine.

Follow these steps:

1) Go to www.proboards.com/betazone
2) Enter your BetaZone key into the first form field.
3) Click the first "Submit Form" button.

This should take you to the page I mentioned above.

The "Activation Key" that you are referring to is because you created a forum account on the forum v5.proboards.com. This is NOT a BetaZone key.

You need to first sign up for BetaZone access.

1) Go to www.proboards.com
2) Enter your email address in the box labeled "Email" under "Sign up for BetaZone Access"
3) What for an email to arrive (it will take up to a minute) that contains your BetaZone key
4) Go back to www.proboards.com/betazone and enter your key (or just click the link in your email)
5) Then follow the on-screen instructions to make a BetaZone copy of your forum.

v5.proboards.com has nothing to do with ProBoards BetaZone -- do not go to this website any more.

Patrick, I 'click' on your Link and I get sent right back to THIS .......  I'm signed in to ProBoard.com  I'm sorry about all this fuss, but I'm as exasperated as you must be getting as I've been going round in circles for days now.

does the email that you received with the Betazone Key have a URL
beneath the key code that begins with: ...www.proboards.com/betazone/
(keycode #) ? If so, click on that URL and see what happens. (I think
you already have.

If you clicked the 'Click here to get started!' link, you would have been taken to the next page that had "Important -- MUST READ!" and a button at the bottom that said you had read it and want to upgrade.
Go back to your admin panel and see if the message is still there in the header, and let us know

What we need to know at this point is, do you want a betazone test board before converting your current one ?

YES! I get sent to a "MUST READ"

and NO! I didn't click on the "Important Notes Above-Upgrade my Forum"  as I understood that I SHOULD do as suggested  ... YES' I'd like to have a TEST BOARD .... see below

OK, go to www.proboards.com/betazone and enter your email and you should get an email with a key, if you have done this already then click on the link in that email, you will be taken to the link above where you have the option to make a copy of your board, or to make a new default (you can have up to 5 total)

To add if you don't delete your history often theres a chance that you can double click in the beta key field box and hopefully see your key if you already submitted it once.
