Do you mean it's not showing up on your regular forum? Because if so these 2 forums are completely separate! Anything on the beta board is just temporary. If they are posting on the beta board and there posts are not showing up on the beta board, I would suggest making a bug report.

How does this work? I have sent some members over to our test board tamv5.freemessageboards.com/ but their posts are not showing and it's not updating the board. Unless I missed something...?

Is that a copy of your V4 board, it looks like a new default board, use the email to go back to betazone, and fill in the section to make a copy.
But as shortyverrett94 said above, making posts on one will not change the other, they are separate boards.

Yeah it's a copy it's just had a lot of work done to it. Not sure what you mean by default board.

I am aware posts dont show up on v4.

Anyway. It's sorted, turns out the members weren't posting on the test board at all. Sorry to trouble you.

OK it's been a while since I have been on this forum, busy with other things mainly website stuff.

I haven't been able to find out where we can change to V5 early. I would like to get into the queue to change over before April, the 28th of Jan. ! Where do I got to sign up or does one have to take part in the contest in order to switch to V5 early ? I really don't want to take part in the contest.

You can just wait until Jan 28 then, I believe. At that time, a button should appear in your admin panel that will give you the ability to upgrade when you're ready.

When you upgrade your forum to v5 per above, what happens to all the content? Will it all migrate over?

All the content (posts etc) will migrate, your colours should too, but you may need to tweak a few, header footer codes are unlikely to work, and they are removed but saved on the right in the headers page.
Many codes are being replaced by plugins, template mods etc.

Once you convert, if you need help, ask here.

Yes, you're header and footer codes that you had before you upgraded will still  be there for reference, you can still get  a plugin for the code(s) you had. Read this guide for more information on importing and exporting plugins.

What about those who don't want to be forced to move to V5! I don't care for V5 myself and I don't want to loose my site I worked hard to make it look the way it does now.

An "opt-out" option will be available to you soon in your admin panel. This will allow you to opt-out until the end of the year. This means you have all year to get ready for the upgrade.

Hi' I've been following the Beta v5 Upgrade announcements and I tried to access the Beta Board today when IT' told me that I already had an Activation Key, sadly, I didn't receive any 'KEY' that I'm aware of, can you assist please? Jimmuck.

The key would have been sent to the email address you gave when registering for betazone, check in your spam folder

A great forum regarding creativity and also enhances knowledge, I'm assuming good feedback is allowed too but here it is either way. I just wanted to say, I'm a beginner in IT field. I wish I could make sites like

these favorites. I don't know who makes these websites but you guys are great. I really like that kind of attention to detail.Great job on the websites and stuff, hope to see more of you guys work in the future.
