Hi Todge, what ever the problem was? It has corrected it's self? I have changed nothing on my forum so must put it down as something ProBoards must have been playing with at this end. I have seen many forums have things either stop or start working without the forum administrator having altered anything? I thank you once again for your time. ??n?S.

The plugin doesn't appear to be working for me.... Even after the time limit goes by the post can still be edited or deleted.

Hi, I assume the forum you are asking about is the one linked to in your signature? If so, I see you have set it to work on the board titled '31-days-character-development', I can not see that board on your forum, is it hidden?

Oh, sorry, I forgot to put the link in. >_>
Yes, the board is hidden until we launch the campaign, and I've been attempting to test the plug-in with a non-staff account that has access to the board. The title of the board is 31 DAYS OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, and I tried the plugin using the URL title (the bit you mentioned), the cut-and-paste board title, and the full URL of the board. None seemed to work.
EDIT: Would it help to diagnose the problem if the board was not hidden? There is nothing in it except one post.

Hi Todge, I'm having an issue with this plugin. Right now it's disabled on the board with the issue, for reasons I'll explain. If you need it enabled for testing we can arrange that.
So, I've been using the plugin with no problems while all we had on the board were Global mods and Admins, no forum-specific mods or "member groups". Recently, I decided that I needed for certain non-staff members to be able to edit posts indefinitely, so I decided to create a "member group" with "Edit" privileges, and add that group as a "moderator group" to the forum where I wanted them to have edit capability.
After setting that all up, what happens is when one of these members goes to click on the "Edit" button on a post, as soon as they click on it, it disappears and a dialog box saying "Time's up!" appears. We've concluded that this box is coming from your plugin (because the problem goes away if I disable the plugin). Somehow, it's getting confused and not honoring the member's edit privilege.
Does this make any sense? Is that enough info to either tell me how I'm screwing up or be able to fix the plugin?
Thanks!

After observing the problem, I upgraded from 1.0.5 (I think it was) to the latest one, 1.0.8. Same deal.
Thanks.

Hmmm...
Could you please re-activate the plugin and leave a link to the profile page of a member that is having issues.
Thanks.

OK, plugin activated. Link to one of the members of the "Resource Area Editor" group: lvs.freeforums.net/user/2Note that technically this user isn't a moderator, although I've given the group "edit" permission and made the group a "moderator group" of the "LVS Resource Center" sub-board... so perhaps that's an issue? Thanks again.

That would be an issue.
The member needs to be a staff member, otherwise the code will not recognise them.
