Time restriction on modifying posts.

Thanks, Todge. I successfully installed it.

This is what I did:
Disabled version 1.1.3
Installed version 1.1.4
Set time to 5 minutes
Set the "reverse" check box
Set one board in the list
As a normal user (Not admin or staff privileges)
Made a post in a regular board
Made a post in the "excepted" board
10 minutes later BOTH posts were still editable.
I disabled version 1.1.4
Re-enabled version 1.1.3
Ran the above test using the old requirements successfully.

Again, I appreciate your efforts. I'm just reporting what I find.

I tested it as the Admin and forgot to change the restriction back.

I have submitted version 1.1.5 to the library.. It should be there in a day or so. Or you can try to download it from the dropbox link I posted before.

I hate to give you bad news but this version does not block any editing/deleting. It is as if the plugin does not exist. I did the test exactly as described above on version 1.1.5. After the timer expired all posts remained editable.

People will still be able to delete/edit in instances where JavaScript isn't loading, like on their phones.

Thank you for the comment. But that is not the problem.

Version 1.1.3 works. Version 1.1.5 does not. My Javascript IS enabled. Version 1.1.5 does not work.

Version 1.1.5 is working fine for me on my test forum.

Does the plugin work if you do NOT choose to reverse the selection?

If the checkbox is left unchecked version 1.1.5 behaves exactly like 1.1.3.

Then it should work. The only addition to version 1.1.5 is a conditional statement reversing the option.

You should get a pop-up one way or another depending on whether the restriction is applied or not.

Can you make sure the correct alert is displayed in the correct thread..

I downloaded your file.
I usually have the popup disabled.
However, for this test the correct popup is displayed on the appropriate boards.
The popup box appears twice per thread creation. Not acceptable for my purpose.
It did appear to work properly.

Todge needs a link to the forum you are testing on and the ability for guests to post to figure out your problem
