[request] UBBC buttons with quick reply

Hi. On a couple of the v4 forums I admin on, we use the UBBC buttons with Quick Reply code. I have a request from the main admin on one of those boards to ask if that could be converted to a plugin for v5.

I'd be interested in this too. We'd just want the basic ones. Color, bold, italics sort of thing.

I'm releasing a very preliminary plugin for feedback on performance and desired features. It is alpha meaning there are features yet to be added and unforeseen circumstances (aka major bugs) may still exist. Once it has been drive tested and deemed safe enough to travel on public roads (aka beta stage) then I'll post it in the database but for now:

Thanks, please let me know if anything on those settings tab could be made simpler to understand. The tab where you can create your own custom buttons is a bit "techy" due to limitations on the provided interface so any suggestions on how to simplify will help.

It will work if the version of that plugin is 1.1.5 or higher (v.1.1.0 will not)

Will do, Eton. I've put it on the forum whose owner requested it, but it's not that busy. So, I'll add it to mine as well. I had no trouble with the setup at all, but I see that even though I only excluded smilies, I'm not seeing anything to the right of the subscript button.

Would I be right in thinking that the images I've uploaded in place of the default smilies, aren't showing because this plugin isn't finished?

hmmm. I wonder if my missing buttons, which show on the bottom row in your screenshot, are missing because I deselected the smiley one (given it seemed redundant)- which is also on the bottom row? I will have to enable it and see what happens.

Ok.. seems to be an issue if, and only if, you choose NOT to display the smiley one. I enabled it and everything showed. I randomly disabled others, and all the rest show as they should.

I have the same buttons as aRMY83 moonbeam - on one line though.

I think that may just depend on the forum width. If I remove one thing, it all fits on one line. But one line or two doesn't matter to me.
