Brian, Thank you so much for this plug-in, but... you knew this was coming , It's on my test site and I'm using the "extra cell" and my question is... I am using it as a quick find for vegetables, so it will just have a vegetable word in there, tomato, pepper...and so on, it is a clickable link back to our "Quick Find" board and I was wondering if there is a way to add a "new" button next to anything in the extra cell box when something is added, now it doesn't have to say "new" it could be a check mark, or it could be that the word changes to a different color when something new is added, hope this makes sense...

This plugin doesn't have an "extra cell" option so I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't make the Recently Updated Threads Sidebar plugin if that's what this is regarding, so you'd be in the wrong thread if you're looking for help with that.

There are over 100 pages of questions, so please forgive me if this has been asked- but how would one make the side-boxes so that the content inside it can be scrolled up and down? Not sure if this is a question for you- buuuuut I'd figure to start here. brain Ordonez

If you're using Style 1: If you're using Style 2: These both go at the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet.

I have an issue with my forum. I recently made a new theme for it, but the sidebar doesn't show on the side on the theme.

Yoo-Hoo Brian, I need a lil help with this... as you can see here notjusttomatoes.proboards.com/ I have a category that says "Thank you for visiting", and I was wondering how I could start the side bar below that... next to the category "Welcome to Not Just Tomatoes" is this possible? I turned it off for the moment, but if you need me to turn it back on I will.

You'd need to move your container's HTML into the Forum Wrapper template and place it above the $[header] line, then surround it with an if statement to make it show on the home page only.

Brian, Here is the code I think you are talking about... right? <center><div class="container"> <div class="title-bar"><center><h2>Thank You For Visiting</h2></center></div> <div class="content"> <br /><center>Thanks for stopping by!<br> There are many gardening forums out there and we appreciate your visiting us.<br> Our Vegetable Gardening Forum is an open forum for gardening experts and beginners who wish to explore all aspects of vegetable gardening. Discuss how-to tips, vegetable varieties, share your experiences and show off your vegetable harvest. We encourage you to participate by posting advice, comments, pictures, questions and suggestions.<br> Disclaimer: Side effects may include unexplained euphoria and renewed interest in vegetable gardening. <br /><center>Our Latest Posting: $[last_updated_thread.recent_link]<br> Please Welcome Our Newest Member To The Forum: $[newest_user]<br> Total Threads: $[total_threads] - Total Posts: $[total_posts] {if !$[current_user.is_member]} <br> Please $[register_link] Or $[login_link] to gain full access to all boards in our forum<br> Thank You - Happy Posting<br> I'm hoping this is what you mean?

That's correct, daylilydude, though you definitely don't want to forget all of the closing tags for that container on line 35 (since they're not present in the code you copied to your post).
