Sidebar Redux

Hello, It's me again.

I had another question, what code or plugin would I have to use to have the Staff and of the month sidebar like this site has?

Those were all manually entered into the sidebar plugin using HTML.

For example, this is the HTML that produces their Staff container.

Tried to search this topic under 'collapse' but didn't find it.

When you click any of the links in one of the sidebars, it automatically collapses them,... How can I fix this?

I LOVE this plugin. It works beautifully on my laptop and PC.

However, when I'm on my iPhone it does not show at all. Of course it would be small anyway, but I wondered if that happened the same way on people's ipads. (I don't have one to check.)

So, I've asked my members to tell me what other devices they use and wondered just what else is not viewable to them if it's like my iPhone.

So far, our members use these: laptop, regular PC, iPad, iPhone, and one uses a Samsung tablet.

Is there something I need to update, or possibly tinker with, to make things viewable on all products?

Hi! Plugins don't work on mobile devices.

Lynx Something so weird happened just after you made your comment. I picked up my phone and there it was... this sidebar ON my phone. I even awarded a Karma point to one of my members while I was there.

Then about half an hour later, I came back here to make a comment to you and Brian. Because, like you said, Plugin's never worked on my iphone. Then when I tried looking at it again, and the plugins were no longer working when I used my phone. (still this way)

Something weird is going on here. LOL! Thanks for the help anyway. I still wonder if Brian might give an update to these other products I mentioned.

Looks like I done goofed. I submitted a newer version of the plugin to the library that should fix that. Look for 1.4.1 on the library when it's approved.

While you're here I should also tell you that you need to give each of your containers different IDs. Two elements on the same page cannot share the same ID.

My plugins are designed for desktop devices as the desktop version of the forum is the only place where plugins work.

Ensure that you're on the desktop view on all devices you're testing with.

Small question about the different ID's though: Why does it work with only one ID for multiple boxes then? As I don't see why I should make multiple #id1 #id2 #id3 with the same CSS code every time, while it works with just one?
