Nope. By proboards TOS the posts are owned by the authors, and I know I didn't give permission for my posts to be moved. As I have said before, I thought it was legit the first day when ScootDawg.PB was locked and there was a link to go to the new site. Then all heck has broken loose.

I can't comment on any pending legal matters, however this has been referred to our lawyers. A major concern of ours is the fact that personal data (e.g. email addresses) were copied from the ProBoards forum and turned into profiles on this new site. That, and the fact that all the postings were copied without the consent of the posters.

Well that answers just what I thought. I too am going to consider having my banner ad removed from the copied site.

The way this all happened on day one, I thought it was a legit move. Of course I don't know how this stuff really worked until now.  I love knowledge.

One question I do have is can some one be appointed as an Admin or temp admin to the scootdawg PB site?

Your kidding?  Wonder if that also happened to two others that had their banners removed? Your still showing as a member.

Right now we're dealing with this one step at a time. We'll address the administrator issue at a future date.

I can understand that.

Am I to assume that ScootdawgPB is not going anywhere and will continue to operate?   There are a lot of us that have a great deal of time devoted to that site.

By my observations the new site seems to be going on like business as usual from a "we are staying like we are" standpoint IMO. The reason I say this they are looking for moderators on the site. I've been a Proboards forum member of some kind all the way back to 2008 and I've never seen anything like this done by this great company and the people who run it. Myself like lots of loyal Scootdawg people are anxious about the outcome but I do understand this is a delicate matter and needs to be handled in the proper manner to benefit all. I'm sure you will let everyone know as soon as possible what the future hold.

Well said JR. 

As was said there are a lot of folks waiting to hear what is going to happen. Also there are 4 dealers/companies that have had their sponsor banners removed from the .net site, mine included. We don't want to appear as we condone/sponsor what was done.
