Well, it's working now, thanks to setting up a Public Folder in Dropbox Thank you Luv for the directions and offer of help. It worked!!

Would it be possible to edit the slider to be shorter? My shoutbox is rather narrow on my site and the slider ends up running beneath the 'send' button because of this.

The sound works fine in Opera and Firefox, however, in IE 10 the sound does not work. Is there any way to fix this? Since most people use IE the plugin is useless if it won't work in IE 10. I am using a .mp3 file.

The sound works for me and others in IE10.

Thanks ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ , I just tried the forum link and it worked Not sure why it didn't earlier.

The mp3 file that is in the plugin is the download link, not the direct link. If you put that link in your browser address bar (ie10) then it takes you to a save dialog.

Someone else in this thread had the same 'odd' issue a while back. Can you try updating your plugin to the latest version and see if that helps.

It -is- the latest version though. Just to be sure I deleted the plug-in and re-installed it.

I've turned off/uninstalled other plug-ins too to see if they were the culprit and I'm left with Tabbed Sections in Post, Highlightable Code, and Thread Descriptions. I have all the same plug-ins on another site (plus some) so I don't think they're causing it?

I just signed up and tested it out. It seems that the part in red is been added to the refresh :

The part in red should not be there. It needs taking out completely or moving outside of the shoutbox code in the template.

EDIT: If there are line breaks either side of where the red text is, remove those as well.

EDIT II : This problem occurs with a skin from ADOXOGRAPHY.BOARDS.NET , If you have the same problem, please remove this from the template, or move it. The owner of the site seems to be @khristian , so I'm tagging you here. Perhaps you could remove or move the above text from future templates to avoid further problems with this plugin (and others that involve the shoutbox). Thanks.
