Shout Box Sound/Beep On Post And New Message

***EDIT*** Well, for some reason, none of the other options seem to work for me... I've tried every hosting site and nothing works on my test board... Guess I'll have to hope ProBoards adds Shoutbox Sound to the new version... The only site I had not tried on that list was kiwi6.com and it worked!!! *happy dance*

The volume slider background image is no longer accessible from photobucket.

Love the idea... But I can not find the answer anywhere.

Does this plugin alert you that someone else has entered text into the shoutbox?

I know it creates a sound when you enter text.

Also... could the code not simply find the generic windows click sounds that is on everyones computer (Windows)

Like C:\Windows\Media\notify.wav

With added browser security, that probably wouldn't load local file sounds. Also wouldn't work for phones, or tablets, or mac, or Linux users, etc. Etc.

Let me begin by saying that this a great plugin. I have a question.

I have the maximum number of shouts allowed in the Shoutbox. I can see all of the shouts in the “Shoutbox Preview and Management” “Forum Settings” administration page.

However, when using this plugin, all of the shouts are no longer visible in the Shoutbox. The number of visible shouts varies between just a dozen or two.

Shouldn’t all of the past shouts still be visible when using the plugin?
