I'm able to access the test thread, but the plugin either isn't installed or isn't enabled. If you've disabled it because it's causing problems, you can always set permissions on it to be viewable only by a group containing my member account.

Sorted. I've put you into "Temporary Member" group and given you access to that particular board. I've also enabled the plugin.
Thanks again.

Gene Hunt: There was indeed a bug. I've fixed it in version 1.1.2. The plugin should be available in the library soon, or you can download it here. VPester.pbp (5.59 KB) Try the post and [Backslash] [Home] [Backslash] data dump again just to make sure the fix took, and it should be smooth sailing.

Many thanks for working this one through Virgil. I have removed the old plugin and installed the new one. I will give it a try when I return from work. Thanks again

Hmmm. Now I'm confused. The link you gave me here is a different size than the one I found a few posts above. "The plugin should be available in the library soon, or you can download it here. VPester.pbp (5.59 KB)" is 5,732 Bytes but "It's "item 350": www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/350" is 5,719 Bytes.

The pester plugin is one of my favs of all the plugins which I installed on our forum, but it is creating some problems for my members. One member reported seeing the following error message when creating a post: The post goes through despite the error message. Other members reported seeing the same error message. The message seems to be appearing on computers, on tablets and on mobiles. Firefox, Chrome and Android all seem to display it. I asked my members to try clearing their browser's cache and cookies, but no one has reported back. The problem seems related to the plugin's permissions. Would it be possible to make them editable by forum admins? Is there another way to solve this problem? TIA
