Bookmark won't go away

I had a previous post with this problem, but it seems to have disappeared? And the problem hasn't gone away so I'm reposting it, hoping that the problem will be resolved.

For the past few weeks, I have had a notification bubble above my bookmarks, and no matter what I do, it doesn't go away. I have removed all bookmarks and only added back one, and the notification is still there. When I go to my global account to see what the bookmark is, it shows that thread. So I remove it and add another, then the global account shows that thread as the bookmark. It happens on any computer or browser I use so it has nothing to do with cookies. And I have clicked on the bubble as well and it doesn't work.

There is a periodic cleanup of this board and because your original post was a duplicate of another report, it was probably deleted. I apologize for any confusion. This is already a known bug, and is on our list to fix.

It is seriously bugging me to no end and I even made a new account in my forum to keep it from happening again. So far its ok, then again I dont post anything in that thread.

This bug was worked on yesterday, and today. The fix for it should go out by the end of the week.

I've got this same never ending Bookmark bubble as well. I deleted all of my bookmarks for some time and then saw this post that it was fixed but no go - still have the ever present 1 regardless of the fact that I have one thread in bookmarks and it is most definitely read.

The fix for this did go out, I was able to clear your glitch by un-bookmarking and re-bookmarking the thread. I think this was a one-off error that the fix did not patch. Let me know if you have further issues.

Mine still isn't fixed. I went to my global account to see what thread it was, removed it as a bookmark, and it was still there. The global account just changed what thread it considered unread. I rebookmarked the thread and its still there as well. Any ideas?

It also happens to always show the bookmark as being the most recently updated thread, changing based on what threads are on my list.

Could both of you let me know where, and what account this is happening on? I'll take a look and confirm so that I can have a dev look into why.

Hi Michael Michael - my bookmark is here on Support...there was a couple of days that I had the same on our forum and also the minus1 but that all seems to be sorted. It is just on here now.

Thanks Michael - I appreciate it. I have had it about 2 months I think...have ignored it for the most part but wouldn't be sorry to see it go.!!
