Forum URL: wwco.proboards26.comI had this problem a month back, then it was fixed, and now the fix has been removed! Ive paid for advertising, however the campaign has frozen as my page is now breaking frames! Please can my forum NOT break frames. A member of staff here managed to fix this, and my sites worked fine, with no reported problems, Im unsure as to why breaking frames have been brought back, as it reduces the traffic campaigns that we can run. Thanks

Thanks Proboards is designed to break out of frames. As by doing what you have said, it would have prevented the page views from being properly seen before the ad free was purchased which is a TOS. Also please resize your sig per the guidelines, you are stretching the page badly..

Thanks if PB stays in frames it will cause cookie problems or many users, as I have discovered with another site just his morning. That's why the breaking out of frames code was put back. It caused many people login problems.

I remember this being done for you, but with server upgrades and patches, this might have been overwritten, please allow this to drop for admins (craig i think)

Within hours of this being done there were tonnes of threads coming from users using redirects, none of them were able to login due to the cookie problems we mentioned. The change was reversed very quickly because we server the majority not the minority.
I am afraid users being able to login comes to us at a higher priority than advertisers that force sites to be in frames.

There was a script that users could put on their site so they forum would break out of frames.
In the short period that the change was made, I recieved 5 new members (of which they posted, proving they could log in).
I have several ad-campaigns which have now be paused until the site dosnt break out of frames. Its not the norm for a site to do that.
Is there a code to make my forum frame breaking free?
If not is proboards prepared to reinburst me the $70 ive spent of advertising, which cannot continue until frames are fixed.
Thanks

Yes, but every user who used a "standard" redirect needed to manually add that code, there were onlz a few this benifit, you have to understand how we must serve the general needs of the majority
PM me in a couple of hours with the subject "disable frames - " then your forums URL I will make some changes so you forum loses the frame break code, then at some point ill make it a standard feature on PB for the few forums that want it to disable the frame breaking
