Forum URL: www.ejehclub.proboards83.comHey. We currently have a huge forum on another provider, and are looking at moving over to Proboards. We are a club in Queensland Australia that caters for owners of the old 63-65 EJ/EH Holdens. This is the forum we are using now; forum.ejehclubqld.com/Its dull, its functions are dookiee, and as its run by a member that works for the provider, club president etc dont have executive powers. Hence the switch. But theres a cpl of issues; 1. The URL. We really do need 'ejehclubqld', but it was rejected because of length? Is there a way around this? Because we have the largest EJ/H club in Australia, and it needs to stand out in search results. 2. Is it easy for us in Oz to take up ad-free? If so, how much? 3. Lastly, will the board be searchable in Google, Yahoo etc, or does it need to be done manually? I should stress - Im not on the executive of the club - Im just a member. But Ive run a P'Boards forum for 18mths and the others are keen for a move. All advice appreciated! Cheers

I don't see how "ejehclubqld" is rejected, since the maximum length is 15 characters, and ejehclubqld is 11. 2. Ad-free is $7 for 7 credits, which lasts for 50,000 page views. However, to purchase Ad-Free, you must send a money order or check to Proboards or have someone from the United States to make the purchase if you wish to pay via credit card as the system only accepts American cards. 3. Your board will eventually be added onto a search engine over time.
