But it dont show help Could you post a link to the code or what it is exactly called? If it is not causing any major problems, you could try posting in the support board where you got it or the code support board here.

The code for custom colors as I have it on my footers is like so:
<script language=javascript> <!-- function colorName(name,color) { for (cn=0;cn<document.links.length;cn++) if (document.links[cn].href.indexOf('action=viewprofile&user='+name) != -1) document.links[cn].style.color=color; }
colorName('liselle','pink'); colorName('celeb','00FF00'); colorName('frodeh','F2ADF3'); colorName('voirith','Yellow'); colorName('admin','ff6666'); colorName('darksword','CC0000'); colorName('shalimar','084dff'); colorName('razortotherosary','Orange'); colorName('emma','996633'); colorName('brenetta','CCCCFF'); colorName('mouthy','FF1313'); colorName('dawn','Green'); colorName('kanefirestorm','Purple'); colorName('varda','87CEFA'); colorName('arwen','White); // --> </script>

colorName('liselle','pink'); colorName('celeb','#00FF00'); colorName('frodeh','#F2ADF3'); colorName('voirith','yellow'); colorName('admin','#ff6666'); colorName('darksword','#CC0000'); colorName('shalimar','#084dff'); colorName('razortotherosary','orange'); colorName('emma','#996633'); colorName('brenetta','#CCCCFF'); colorName('mouthy','#FF1313'); colorName('dawn','green'); colorName('kanefirestorm','purple'); colorName('varda','#87CEFA'); colorName('arwen','white); // --> </script> Does that work?

Sadly not I did not have # before most of the hex colors before and it still worked I noticed from your source there are big gaps between the codes tigned those gaps up then see if it'll work then.

You have this code in your footer 2 times. Remove both of them cause this code isn't needed anymore. <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> <!-- /* Cell Highlight & Link Copyright © 2003 Craig Suffolk, ProBoards.com All Rights Reserved */
var mouseOverColor = '000000'; var statusMessage = 'TEXT'; window.status = statusMessage;
cellHigh = document.getElementsByTagName('TD'); for(ch=0;ch<cellHigh.length;ch++) { if((cellHigh[ch].className=="windowbg2" && cellHigh[ch].width=="66%") || (cellHigh[ch].className=="windowbg" && cellHigh[ch].width=="48%")) { if (cellHigh[ch].width=="48%") {var num=0;} else {var num=1;} cellHigh[ch].onmouseover = function(){this.style.cursor='hand';this.style.backgroundColor=mouseOverColor; window.status=this.getElementsByTagName('b')[0].innerHTML;}; cellHigh[ch].onmouseout = function(){this.style.backgroundColor=this.bgColor;window.status=statusMessage;}; cellHigh[ch].onclick = function(){location = this.getElementsByTagName('a')[num].href;}; }} // --> </script>
For that members colors code. Make sure you putting in the members username and not there DISPLAY name. support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=codedatabase&action=display&n=1&thread=70253

For that members colors code. Make sure you putting in the members username and not there DISPLAY name. Checked that, I don't know why else your code wouldn't work except what Snake said. If that doesn't fix it try cutting the rest of your codes into notepad and seeing if it works. If it does, put them back in one by one until the problem comes up again. Then post the two codes in code support.

Be carefule when you add codes in the swithcit code you have in your footer 2 times and it's not edit yet. Remove this code from your footer. (it's in there 2 times also and causing conflicts. <script language=javascript> <!-- function switchit(item,item2) { var range = document.body.createTextRange(); range.collapse(true); if (location.href.indexOf("action=headersfooters") == -1 ) while (range.findText(item)) { range.text=item2; range.collapse(false); } }
switchit("Guest","Guest"); switchit("Member","Member"); switchit("word or sentence you want to change","word or sentence to change it to"); // -->
</script> Your color code is in your footer 2 time's also. It only needs to be in your global footer 1 time and no where else in your footers. Add the names again to the member color code. Use the color code at this link and start from scratch. support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=codedatabase&action=display&n=1&thread=70253

The codes are so messed up I seriously dunno where to start with them all I seriously need to find someone to handle the codes for me Ask your members at you forum. Post in the coding support board for help with the codes. The folks over there can explain how they need to be edit and help you fix any coding errors. Trust me in time you'll pick up a few things about codes. Experimenting is the only way to learn. For the member colors code, you need to use the HEX colors and not mix it with the color name. Just use all Hex colors.

Thank you Alright just one last question If one of the colors does not work...it means then that it messes up the whole code? It could cause the code to not work. Here is a color chart you could get some hex colors off if you need some. halflife.ukrpack.net/csfiles/help/colors.shtml
