Forum URL: austinbiodiesel.orgI'm accustomed to a message board having a check box when posting that says 'subscribe' to get notified when a reply is made. I'd like to know how to do that as a user, as well as administrative notification when anyone makes a post and/or a reply to a post. I looked in the help/faq and it said you could get notified 'should you choose to do that' but doesn't say how. thanks! Jason

Jason it only works with replies to threads that already exsist or you are making.

Just Boomark a thread you want to keep an eye on. Then you can opt for a PM when replies are made, or an email when replies are made Kapt~`'-

it only works with replies to threads that already exsist or you are making. my idea of a bookmark is to see a list of places (bookmarks) i want to revisit. i don't correlate that with getting notified with replies. i also didn't see bookmarks mentioned in the faq. please elaborate, and consider including this in a faq (or point me to it, if it's already there). also, kapt says to bookmark a thread, then you can *opt* for a pm or email. where do you make this choice?

This is useful when you have a support topic and you are waiting for an admin to reply or something. To make the choice of PM or email, go to your profile, click Bookmarks, and click Preferences.
