Thank you Todge - I used smiley images from "AllSmileys.com"; it provides 3 different sets of code. I started with using "Forum BBC code" for all of them, then when I didn't see the actual smiley on the pop-up box I tried the HTML code and then the Direct URL code to see if I was just using the wrong thing...then clicked set changes then saved but never got any images to show up using any of them. Here is one of the sets for one of the images; if you need them all I can certainly send all those I used - I don't see the crab either although it is the first one I input. (I added spaces before/after starting/ending "img" so the text would be visible to you, although am sure you already figured that out!) And I guess this tells me the Forum BBC code is the right one to use, but still can't get it to show up in the personal smiley section of the pop-up box. If there is a better place to get free smilies from that you'd recommend, please let me know! Forum BBC Code: [ img]http://www.allsmileys.com/files/smiley-central-animals/4257.gif[/img ] HTML Code for Website:<img src="http://www.allsmileys.com/files/smiley-central-animals/4257.gif" alt="" style="border:0px;vertical-align:middle"> Direct URL:www.allsmileys.com/files/smiley-central-animals/4257.gif

All you need is the image URL.. No BBCode is necassary.. So, in your personal smilies section of your profile, just add http://www.allsmileys.com/files/smiley-central-animals/4257.gif (and so on for each image), and all should be good. If you enter the image URLs correctly, when you hover the mouse over the URLs in your profile you should see the image appear at the top of the section.

I assume that the Personal Smileys behave themselves on the normal posting page?
If so, it is strange, as it is working fine on my test forum, and I can't see anything strange about your layout that should effect them.

Yes, works fine on posting page. Just in the quick reply I'm having issue. Seems strange to me that they show in the drop down, but don't do anything when click them.
At bottom of browser, I see the following:

The smiley image bbcode is missing the closing quote on the src upon insertion/* Line of code in addPS that is missing closing double quote */ smc = '[img class="smilie" src="'+smc+']';

Chris
This is not something I can fix, I take it? Todge will have to do so and update the plugin, correct?
I just went to a regular posting and tried the one you did and got this:
[img class="smilie" src="https://www.bk.cc.nf/android.png"] It's showing the correct format there.
On a side note, Chris, I find it ironic you chose the Android image to test, given your avatar here is of an Android Data. LOL

Unless the plugin is editable (you see a "Build Plugin" button when configuring in the admin panel) then this would be a task for Todge to fix. You and your members could "fix" it on a case-by-case basis by manually adding the closing double quote after the image URL but before the closing square bracket ( ]) whenever you insert a personal smiley in the quick reply. I used the only image URL given in this thread since I had none available when viewing the forum as a guest. I typed addPS("https://www.bk.cc.nf/android.png") in the browser console to simulate a smiley click

Chris , we cannot do so, as the script will not even add the smilie to the box in Quick Reply.
That's the main issue I'm having. What you found, is something I did't get to see, as when I click a personal smilie, it does nothing.

Aaahhh..
What do you see in the console when you try to click on a personal smiley to insert it into the quick reply? (press F12 to open your Chrome browser's console before trying to click on a smiley)

We want to view the errors. According to your screenshot there are 2; The errors will be shown in the console tab or if you click on the "2" it should open a mini-console Make sure it is open BEFORE you click on the smiley so it can then record any error that might be issued when you perform the click.
