so do i have to build all the custom smilies in each theme (if I want more than 1? Indeed, each theme you have is not tied into another theme, so you will have to add them again in each new theme you make.

A suggestion: When you copy a theme, smilies are copied too. So if you plan to make several themes, make a default one, add the smilies, then copy that theme whenever you want to make a new one.

YW And the default theme can be disabled so that other members of the forum don't see the plain version.

When I upgraded and we had a bunch of extraneous images attached to a theme they were all listed at the bottom of the Theme Manager -> Images under the 'Custom' section. But if you had these smilies added to your forum via header/footer code [and you didn't clear your header/footer code before the transfer] you should be able to see that code in the Admin Panel and grab the links of the smilies from there.

Just a heads up: The help guide is nearing completion and should be made available soon. Right now we're still looking into how it'll be presented and implemented, but other than that we're only short a small amount of articles. This will essentially be the "for dummies" guide to basic V5 functionality.

But ProBords support here, are willing to help you with every single thing ya need!!

'how to restore your forum to how it was before the upgrade' I didn't need to do anything clever Making a forum look exactly how it did in V4 is another story. Depending on how complex your old forum looked it may require a bit of coding knowledge. But if you had a simple layout it shouldn't be too much work. I think I've managed 3 or 4 conversions so far, though, so it's definitely possible even with some of the more complex layouts.

Don't worrt, we only have about 20 members so it's not crucial. It was very simple.
Can I reorder the smilies I add or will they always be displayed in the order I add them?
