Smileys will always be shown in the order that you add them, but you can always add a feature request to have the option to reorder them.

Pending accounts will show as a message at the very top of your admin area, but you can also edit your profile to notify you (and even email you) whenever an account is pending on your forum. This can be done via the Notifications tab.

Can somebody explain what the 'visual' tab is when creating a new post?

The 'Visual' tab is the replacement for the 'Preview' button on v4. Imagine typing in a word doc. BBC you type in the visual tab won't generate a proper preview however unless you switch to the BBC tab and then switch back

This removes the BBCode, so anything you change, lie the color of font, will show it as red, instead of it being BBCode tags.

Extra smileys can also be added directly into your theme via the Theme Manager, although they'll only show for that particular theme.
