Help. An univited intruder.

No one can send a private message they are directed to the other forum. It was working ok when Brian fixed it and now it has come back.

How can this be.  I am the only one who can access those codes now. Is this what is known as a Hacker.

I was on your forum just now TT and managed to post OK, but then I noticed that there is a redirect link still in a post called Hi There in your welcome thread. I tried to pm you about it but was immediately diverted to that site

I sent a PM to ToeTapping yesterday with no issue but when I tried to open what I thought was a reply from her I got redirected to the same forum.

Happened just now as well.

I saw that to TT. Try and find all those posts and delete them. It seems to be only effecting the pm's right now.

PM'ing is a known issue right now, and devs are working on fixing it.

Do you know if anyone in particular added the stuff to your forum? If so, my suggestion would be to view the security log, to see where that person (possibly people?) went to. Track their movements, then you could hopefully undo the mess caused.

I have gone through the security log daily and there is nothing suspicious there.

I had a new member join Shiznit, then the trouble started on the 24th March. I went to their details, they had disabled their account. I banned their ISP and name and deleted the account and still have the problems.

How about.. is there a point on that day or similar, to when you know, without a doubt, you (yep, your account) were not online? Because this could then mean someone used your account, somehow.

I am not online all day every day. The thought had occurred to me that some one is using my account and changed my password but it has made no difference.

So I assume you looked at the logs at your own account to make sure nobody had done it using yours?

If you think your account is compromised, I would recommend changing your password and email password immediately.
