Forum URL: dragonzl.proboards84.comI'm trying to get a image to show for my background and am having some problems doing this. I have put in the link to the website ( which is mine) for the image but it doesn't seem to be showing. I have left the background color blank and in the gobel header I added <style> .windowbg,.windowbg2,.bordercolor,.catbg,.titlebg,.menubg,.welcomebg,.newstitlebg{background-color: transparent;} </style> to see if that would help. But it doesn't. Can can one help?

Go to admin, skins/forum colors, the modify skin, click continue, then find the background url, put the link there, then click modify.

I don't see the URL to your image in the "background image " URL box in skins/forum colors page. Could you double check what is in there and post the URL here.

The image needs to be either a .jpg .gif or a .png file. Save the background image again as one of those extentions and upload the image to your own webhost if that is not yours. Also if you click on that URL the image doesn't even come up.

It's ok, i do that sometimes. Like i said earlier, you need to save that image as a .jpg or .gif or a .png file and upload to your host and use that URL. .htm images will not work.

as silly as it sounds sometimes a bad cookie will prevent images from showing as well, clean out your cookies and restart you computer and look..I've seen this happen a few times before.

A cookie won't stop it from showing on someone elses system - which it doesn't. The link is bad. Nefe19 ... is that your domain? Not your proboards, but a private domain where you host your files? Do they allow hot linking? I suggest you get a free account at one of the places mentioned here all the time and store your image there to see if it appears. I'm betting it will and your host is the problem.
