I wonder if any of you can help?
I have run a proboard for nearly three years and it's a great community. However, due to some life changes for me, I am wanting to pass the board over to someone else totally, and sign the legal responsibility to that person too.
Is it just that I hand over the admin, or is there something that I can ask proboards to mark down in the board details so that it's not my email sitting there as the person responsible?
I would hate to think the only other option is to delete the board. There's a lot of hard work been put in there by people, esp my Gmod so would much rather find a way to pass this over to a new owner.
Any advice?
Thank you.

I had to change My account..on the proboards. So whatever account you put ..whatever e-mail will be the e-mail that replys and such are sent to. What have to save though is that one account..you'r account on the board. Just save the original passwords and e-mail. In case something happens that is needed it's like a verification that Pat will need. Other then that I odn't think there is. I'm no expert but I have seen Pat ask for the original e-mail and passwords. There to be pme'd not said in the open. But, that is all I think he needs. Maybe if want to could pm Pat. He may reply. Although be sure give him some time to. Can imagine pretty buisy guy.

The only way to transfer complete control of the board to someone els is to give that person your admin account by sending him the password. Then that person has to change the password and the e-mail address and you don't own the board any longer. Also send him an e-mail with the original admin password you used to sign in the first time. Note that there is no way of getting control back once you've given away the board.

Thanks guys. Yes, I know there's no going back once I've done this. But I've had enough now. Either I transfer it to someone or I delete it....
