I've created another admin so that a member can take over from me whilst I carry on with life for a while. The problem is, although I've made this a new category and made sure it's 'staff' but the person still can't see the 'admin' board that we keep for staff members only at the bottom of our board. Can anyone tell me what I haven't done? Thank you!

Have you set admin as a staff group?

I've set the admin as a staff group, yes.
I've done it thought their profile too but it still won't work.
I created an ID to test it out on and although it has all the admin options, still the board can't be viewed through the test either.
I'm glad it's not so obvious! LOL! What am I doing wrong?

Did you also check the staff powers? admin--member group--modify group--select admin from drop down menu proceed to next page. Make sure "group is staff" is set to yes. "LIMIT powers" set to NO. Now go to the next page and give that staff group there powers. Have you set admin as a staff group? Please create your own thread and not hijack another members thread. Read the support rules sticky thread. You don't need to set the admin as a staff group cause by default it's set that way. Go in the members profile and change there member group to admin.
