you can set up a chatroom yes.. there is a code for it in the code database i believe, or you can use your own chatroom.. (free) at sigamachat.. is a good one.
you also can set up a saybox somewhere on your board.

If you set up a link to sigamachat on your board.. say in the top info box.. all you have to do is create a link to it and it will take you right to it.. the chat i think will open in a new window.. so you dont have to worry aboy frames

Personally i have found sigamachat to be the best one to use inside forums

the one I gave you I found works the best with proboards and it auto logs you in.
