Is it possible to have a jingle play when you mouseover a particular thread, like those (annoying) smiley ad banners?

You'll have to ask this question in the code request board for a code. Go to coding and designs board and click on the code database sub-board to make a thread.

So you want it on just one thread? I made a code for Kapt a while ago for this, you may want to ask him.

function linkSound(link, sound){ for(i=0;i<document.links.length;i++){ if(document.links.href.indexOf(link) != -1){ document.links.onmouseover = function(){ with(mHold.appendChild(document.createElement("embed"))){ src = sound; autoplay = "true"; hidden = "true"; loop = "false"; } } document.links.onmouseout = function(){ mHold.firstChild.stop(); mHold.removeChild(mHold.firstChild); } } } }
linkSound("board=general", "URL OF SOUND"); linkSound("action=pm", "URL OF SOUND"); linkSound("PARTIAL LINK URL", "URL OF SOUND FILE");

Try it in your Footer(s) Look at this part: linkSound("board=general", "URL OF SOUND"); linkSound("action=pm", "URL OF SOUND"); linkSound("PARTIAL LINK URL", "URL OF SOUND FILE"); That should be all you need to edit If you can't get this code to work for some odd reason, www.hypergurl.com has more kapt~`'-
