All sorts of problems tonight

Apart form the Ajax processes problems already reported, there are numerous other problems tonight. Posts are appearing in duplicate and sometimes triplicate and are sometimes difficult to delete and the forum is hanging sometimes when any of us try and post.

The forum has been down completely a couple of times in the past couple of hours

I'm navigating around a bit, that at least seems fine for me. What happens when deleting duplicate posts that makes it difficult? Are the hanging issues occurring only during posting, or is it elsewhere as well?

I'm still getting the navigation error every time i go to a different page within a thread, as are my members. Ricky reported that as a bug yesterday and it's happening on other Proboards forums that I visit as well.

The duplication of posts has been going on for a few days, but not all the time and it just started hanging on me tonight when I tried to delete a post that had appeared in triplicate

The forum was down completely when I tried to log in earlier and my mod reported getting dumped from the forum about the same time

And now I'm getting a 408 Time-out message when I post!

Ah yes, the AJAX issue is just waiting on review from our developers. Once they take a look we should be able to come up with a solution for you.

Are all users on your board experiencing instances of duplicated posts, or just some?

We were experiencing server issues earlier on today but our system admins caught it right away and it should be all sorted out now. Has that problem subsided for you?

Well I had a triplicate post problem half an hour ago and a Time-out message 5 minutes ago so it is still current.

I made a few test replies around your forum that I've since deleted and was able to post without any kind of timeout error. If it happens again, can I ask you to take a screenshot of the error you get and post it here?

Screenshot of message received a few minutes ago while attempting to make a post. Several other posts had gone through OK before this one. It's an intermittent problems

I'll be sure to note this in the bug report, just on the off chance that this is somehow related to those AJAX errors. Are any other members experiencing this error at all, or is it just you?

Additionally, can you open a new Incognito window (ctrl+shift+N in Chrome) and browse around your forum in an attempt to recreate the timeout error? Let me know if it still happens in Incognito mode.

My Global Mod has reported the same problems today using both her laptop and tablet and there have been several instances of duplicate and triplicate posts by different members over the past few days.

This is happening in a variety of browsers and the problem is intermittent - I could test it for an hour in Incognito mode and I might not be able to duplicate the problem.

I've been using V5 since my forum was converted on 29 January, and was a Beta tester before that so I'm not a novice. I do know when there is a genuine problem.

It's getting late here but I will test it in Incognito mode tomorrow

OK David, I've been using the forum this morning and alternating between incognito and normal mode.

The Ajax processes error comes up in either mode and I had a couple of posts hang for a while in Incognito. I didn't get any duplicate posts in either mode but as I said before that's an intermittent problem.

Apart from the Ajax errors which are driving everyone crazy, there don't seem to be any other obvious problems today
