Hi, when one of my forum's members logs in, her screen name is shown at the bottom of the webpage as being online, yet at the top of the page, it still shows her as being logged out, ie it does not say "Hey, member, you have 0 messages, 0 are new." It just says, "welcome guest. Please..." Any idea what the problem might be?

Have her check her browser's cookie settings. Here are instructions on how to do so. Also, upon logging in, ask her to select "forever," as the login duration.

I just asked her to try all of that, but even after doing all that, she has the exact same problem--still sees her username displayed on the bottom of the webpage, and yet sees the "welcome, guest" message at the top of the page.
