Now she's showing as online but not in the online members list... That's a side effect of the problems we just dealt with today. Give it some time and the issue will be rectified. Now that's a little weird, I can't say I've heard of that before. If the problem persists, I advise that you have her post here on the support board with a detailed account of the situation. I just copied the link address off the logout link and removed the number from it - which I guess corresponds to the board - and that seemed to work. It's just that the easy-peasy login/logout link on the forum itself isn't working correctly...yet. I can wait, though, since we have a way around it. The board isn't that active, so it's no huge big deal. Thank you for the reassurance!

w29.boards.net is having the same problem. I get an angry bear error then nothing when I activate new accounts. Member # is not increasing.

May I inquire about the status of this fix... I know you're working on it & I don't wanna bug ya, but I'm only asking since I have 3 new members that still can't access to the forum yet. Thanks!!

Sorry, but we haven't pushed the fix live yet. It should happen within the next day or two. Keep in mind that although the error causes problems with emails going out and member stats being updated, the members are actually still being approved.

Ok, so there's another thread about this issue here from which that response came from. Thanks! Is the reason our forums may be offline temporarily tonight for this fix or something else?

Hey David Clark, I seem to be having the same problem... I just upgraded my forum yesterday & I had my first new member register since the upgrade. I was at work & approved the pending membership from my phone & there was a popup error, but I didn't really ready what it said, I just tried hitting approve again & it seemed to go through as it didn't show on the pending list anymore. Now that member shows up in my Member List, but it doesn't show up in the Info Center as newest member or update the Member Count. ..... Update on this... I just had another new member join a couple minutes ago, this time when I approved them.. I didn't get the error message & they did show up in the Info Center as the newest member & updated the members count - but only by one, it still hasn't updated the count from the 3 others new members I had last week. .....2. Also, when I go to this new member's profile, it doesn't show his email address... ..... ..... 2. This is a part of the issue. It should be fine when the fix takes effect. ..... And, this new member's email address does show up in their profile (still doesn't show up in the other new 3 from last week)... but the birthday only shows Month & Day... I know they can choose to hide the year, but as Admin, shouldn't I see the year, the way I could in V4? Thanks!!

There's no way for the admin to force them to display.

Oh really? Because they could hide bdays in V4, but not from Admin, so there's no way for Proboards to make it that way in V5? And does this mean they could hide their bday all-together from admin?
