Forum URL: http://.proboards.com I have a proboard, and I am a member of several others including a board that has 300 and some members. I am not the admin, but know the admin & moderator personally. They have had a problem for some time now, they can not sign up any new members. For some reason, when the new member tries to register, they get a message that says something about waiting for admin approval, which can’t be given for some reason. When I asked the moderator about it, he said that they have too many members, and need to start a new board. Yet, I have seen boards with many more members than that (including this one). I hate to have to start my post count all over again. Any ideas I could pass on to the owners of this board that might help clear this up? I suggested deleting non-posting members, would this help? The owners of the board in question are men, so of course they hesitate to ask for any help. Thanks for any info.

Tell the owner to go to general settings in admin panel and for "limit registration" set that to NO. Then in admin panel under manage members the admin needs to click on "view pending accounts" and approve all the members that are in there.
