Forum URL: smashyhits.proboards25.comI've looked in my admin area and the option to 'set mod/gmod powers' has disappeared. Has something been changed or does my forum have a code thats making it do this?

Has something been changed or does my forum have a code thats making it do this? you can create more groups now, other than gmod, mod, and even non-staff groups, so now the powers are in admin>>modify groups

No that just changes the group name, group colour, star images, number of stars and whether their powers can be used on other boards except their own.
I want to change what they can do e.g. modify news fader, modify threads etc. I used to be able to do it but now the option has dissapeared.

I don't understand. I only want them to be able to mod in their forum so it's set as yes to limited powers. What I want to do is to be able to change what they can and can't do.

But what I want them to be able to do isn't actually there. Its just limited powers yes or no. its got to be, Admin panel-->member groups-->Modify Group-->Select the member group from the list below that you would like to modify:--> you edit their moding powers there..don't forget to select "yes" "for is this group staff" .. make sure you click on his/her display name and go to his profile. Scroll down to your admin functions in his profile and change his member group to admin/G-mod/moderator whichever one you are appointing them to.

She is a mod and I have selected that the group is staff. Problem is, she can't do anything in her forums e.g. delete posts, modify posts.
There used to be a option in the admin area called Set Mod/Gmod powers I'm sure of it and there was lots of ticky boxes saying what they could and couldn't do. But now its not there.

Click on "Modify Group" and select the group you want to change then below the limited powers option, click continue. That should take you to where you can change what that group can do.

Haha really sorry for wasting anyones time, I honestly am. I didnt realise that when I clicked continue it gave me a list. I'm positive in another version there was a different option with ticky boxes. Sorry again and many thanks to cloud9 for the help I appreciate it
