I apologize if this is the incorrect place, but I checked my firewall log today only to find that Proboards server 75 tried to access my computer through one of my unused ports. I would have assumed you one of many other hackers who try to enter my computer the same way had I not seen your name. Can someone explain this? I'm not angry, but I am concerned.

It could be someone hacked into the server, then tried to get into your computer through the server to cover up his tracks. Of course though, they say proboards' servers are unhackable.

That's pretty elaborate considering they didn't get past my Mcafee firewall <Later Edit: Your site scares me >

I find that highly unlikely. Are you sure it was inbound not outbound?

With the exception of PB.com which we use to connect to other servers, none of them have any outgoing capabilities
With the exception of email that is, if something happened was it on the email port?
What makes you think it was 75 anyway?

Mcafee traces where the attempted port connections come from, it said "proboards75.com" I'm sure it was in-bound. It didn't break my firewall, but it is still concerning
