Turn off old participated threads? [c]

Sorry if this is the wrong area, but i figured this issue would be a template rather than a plugin issue.

I would like to turn off, threads which i have participated in if they are old... Or if i haven't replied to them in some time or something? Can this be done at all? I like the participated feature, but if you have heaps of posts in many threads then it gets a bit errm which one has been replied too and such?

oh pooh i thought there was one already in circulation lol.

All of my old posts have disappeared from the participated button on support, so yeah i just assumed it was already out there. But thanks Tim for your reply.

Stinky666 well damn that was confusing, but it does help a little. So thanks, also i need to sort out my logins for SI i haven't been there in ages >.<
