how do I make a admin alert button at top of page?

Someone gave me a code so I could make an image a link at the top of the page. I tried to make an admin alert button. I tried to make a pm page that said
To: admin, beyer413

Subject: Admin Alert!!!

Message:





and i tried to make that a url but it didn't work. when I put the url in it directed to a blank pm page. Help appreciated.

I already used that. Here is an example site.

wfigs.proboards48.com look at the place where it has the admin alert button. How do I make one of those?
